Course - First Aid at Work (FAW)

Welund's First Aid at Work (FAW) training course, in line with the revised HSE guidelines, is designed to provide the workplace First Aider with the necessary skills and confidence to provide emergency cover at first aid level. The First Aid at Work (FAW) is the standard, recognised qualification for any first aider in the UK.

 

Course content:

Basic record keeping, accidents and illness

Use of a standard first aid kit

Heart attack, Unconscious casualty

Cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR)

Shock, Choking, Serious bleeding

Burns and scalds

Breaks and fractures

Poisoning, Seizures, Stroke

Severe allergic reaction/anaphylaxis

Asthma, eye injuries

Diabetes & Fainting
